Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken, a tried and true family recipe
It should serve four big appetites.

Shopping List:

4 pounds chicken pieces (frozen thighs are good)
1 cup plain yogurt
1 onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
2 Tablespoons curry powder
2 Tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

How to make it in a crock pot:

combine all ingredients except chicken.
Put chicken in crock-pot
pour seasoned mixture over chicken.
Cook til done (all day on low, or 4 hours on high)
Serve with rice or couscous
and a vegetable (broccoli, a salad, peas, steamed corn)

Substitutions
You could substitute boneless chicken breasts for the thighs
Boneless skinless thighs are the best, but you can buy a package of chicken thighs and yank the skin off before you put it in the crock pot.

Wash up and wait for dinner.
